20 Weeks: We're having a B-O-Y

Another Boy!!!
I'm sad it's not a girl....I still see girly baby clothes and have to remind myself that it's a boy. It's harder the second time knowing it's a boy because I already love my little boy and can't imagine a different one.  I guess it's just hard imagining a child in the first place...it's just harder the second time becuase I have one to compare that feeling too.

Cross it off the Baby Registry List...I have purchased a pack n play, and a really nice papasan swing for really good deals garage sale-ing! I love the blue and brown playpen with a mobile and a changing station, night light and nature noise/songs/vibration attachment. And the swing has so many different settings, a mirror, music, a mobile, nature sounds, different speeds, etc...very cute. Brand new the pack n play would be $99 and I got it for $35 and the swing would have been $165 and I got it for $20!!! I cleaned it all up and it looks good as new!!!! Love It!!!

Ultrasound Pictures to come....once I scan them in!!!

20 weeks pregnant. 3 years 3 weeks and 3 days for my 3 year old today.

so the babe is the length of a banana and a little over 1/2 a lb. it's a little gymnast is all i know. in the morning around 7, around  5pm ish and around 10pm ish the little one gets super active. it's fun knowing that there is a little babe or two or three from the comotion learning to move about and even responding to sounds. having lots of vivid dreams..may be related to work and not pregnancy though.
i have noticed a lot of side effects from a pregnancy are also side effects of my job. nausea, dreams, headaches, dizziness, lack of sleep, hmmm...no wonder i don't notice as many side effects of the pregnancy this time. and i thought this pregnancy was just easier.

one website that gives me weekly updates said i should have gained about 10 lbs by now....oops. I think i've gone from 136 to 133 to 134 but can sometimes fluctuate to 137. i must be working it off with stress. yep the jobs the source of this figure. from here on out i'm to gain about a lb a week. we'll see. if barry's cooking and the nightly ice cream cravings don't do the trick...i don't know what will.

on other note...who told my child that babies drink milk from their mommies' tummies? hhhmmm...or is he having flashbacks? i was laying down in his tent with him saying goodnight and tucking him in....yes he sleeps in a tent in pile of blankets on the floor...and he says 'i drink milk from mommies tummy' laughs, and pretends to drink milk from my stomach. i asked him who told him that...he said 'Adrian'....um....welll....i guess now he knows now. he has also become fascinated with nipples which he calls 'meatballs' and knows about 'boobies'. he knows boys from girls. he laughs at all gross things like farts. he must be three and a boy. he's still a nudist and calls everyone 'naked'. he's also taken to calling people 'little_______' such as little mommy or little grandma or little grandpa. who knows. he's been commenting a lot about how 'great our house is' and trying to get mommy to not go to work, to stay home so he can play at his friend's house.

his two year well check went well. he got a chicken pox shot. he sure cried a lot for not remembering which leg it was on by the time we got to the car. he moved and was bruised a little. he was so mad at the nurse that he kept giving her the evil eye. he's still got dry skin...probably has allergies...which we can do 1/2 dose of OTC allergy med if it's bad. he can get skin tested if we want but probably not too bid a deal says doc. no test for asthma at this time. no worries. good weight and tall for his age. as usual skinny and tall.

Pregnancy

Doing great so far!
I think I started feeling the baby around 14 weeks. It was hard to tell and I would question the movements I felt but at 18 weeks I could definitely tell it was the little munchkin (or two). I like to tease Barry that it is twins because he has quite a few sets of twins in his family :)
Barry felt the baby kick for the first time at 19 weeks on May 18th.
I can't believe we're one week away from being Half Way to baby!

May 1st: 16.5 Weeks

May 14th: 18.5 Weeks

Grandpa's Visit from Maui

Grandpa came to visit from April 29th to May 5th! He stayed with us until May 4th and then stayed at Grandma D's house.
On Friday he picked up Adrian from Grandma D's and brought him home. Adrian had been awaiting his arrival for weeks now and was so excited to see his Grandpa that he ran and hugged him.
On Saturday we hung out and relaxed.
On Sunday we had a birthday party for Adrian at Bounce!
On Monday, Daddy and Mommy got off work and we went out for lunch and  then to Sportsman's Warehouse to find Daddy his fishing pole for his birthday present. We went to Grandma D's for Family Dinner!
On Tuesday Mommy got off work and Grandpa and Adrian and Daddy hung out.
On Wednesday we went to the park together: Spring Canyon Playground!
On Thursday Grandpa flew back home to Maui :(

We had lots of fun relaxing with Grandpa and really wanted him to stay...now we have to just go out and visit him soon!

Birthday Boy #3

Adrian woke up bright and early for donuts and coffee...I mean donuts and soy soy! He got to open a couple of presents from mommy and daddy, grandma and grandpa!

New Roller Skates...why not try them while riding the turtle...better get a helmet for this fun-ness!

A skateboard, a bike, an easel, books, toys galore! He won't need another birthday with presents for at least 2 years!!!

We had a fun celebration at Bounce! in Loveland on Sunday May 1st. Grandma Linda and Grandpa Tim, Grandpa from Maui, Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Kay, Grandma D and Papa Mark, Aunt Julie and Cavyn and Nico, Aunt Christie and Maddox and Uncle Ty, Uncle Judah, Uncle Bobby, Great Uncle Wally, Jami and Lexi and Julian, Amber and Taylor and Madelynn, Kayden, Ashden, and Jax, and Mommy and Daddy and Adrian had so much fun playing, eating pizza, cake and cupcakes, and jumping in the jump castles!
