so the babe is the length of a banana and a little over 1/2 a lb. it's a little gymnast is all i know. in the morning around 7, around 5pm ish and around 10pm ish the little one gets super active. it's fun knowing that there is a little babe or two or three from the comotion learning to move about and even responding to sounds. having lots of vivid dreams..may be related to work and not pregnancy though.
i have noticed a lot of side effects from a pregnancy are also side effects of my job. nausea, dreams, headaches, dizziness, lack of sleep, hmmm...no wonder i don't notice as many side effects of the pregnancy this time. and i thought this pregnancy was just easier.
one website that gives me weekly updates said i should have gained about 10 lbs by now....oops. I think i've gone from 136 to 133 to 134 but can sometimes fluctuate to 137. i must be working it off with stress. yep the jobs the source of this figure. from here on out i'm to gain about a lb a week. we'll see. if barry's cooking and the nightly ice cream cravings don't do the trick...i don't know what will.
on other note...who told my child that babies drink milk from their mommies' tummies? hhhmmm...or is he having flashbacks? i was laying down in his tent with him saying goodnight and tucking him in....yes he sleeps in a tent in pile of blankets on the floor...and he says 'i drink milk from mommies tummy' laughs, and pretends to drink milk from my stomach. i asked him who told him that...he said 'Adrian'....um....welll....i guess now he knows now. he has also become fascinated with nipples which he calls 'meatballs' and knows about 'boobies'. he knows boys from girls. he laughs at all gross things like farts. he must be three and a boy. he's still a nudist and calls everyone 'naked'. he's also taken to calling people 'little_______' such as little mommy or little grandma or little grandpa. who knows. he's been commenting a lot about how 'great our house is' and trying to get mommy to not go to work, to stay home so he can play at his friend's house.
his two year well check went well. he got a chicken pox shot. he sure cried a lot for not remembering which leg it was on by the time we got to the car. he moved and was bruised a little. he was so mad at the nurse that he kept giving her the evil eye. he's still got dry skin...probably has allergies...which we can do 1/2 dose of OTC allergy med if it's bad. he can get skin tested if we want but probably not too bid a deal says doc. no test for asthma at this time. no worries. good weight and tall for his age. as usual skinny and tall.
