Went to the free concert at Civic Ctr Park again: Otra Vez played.

Saw lots of people I know.

Went to free concert to see Archie Funker band at Civic Center Park last night! Dad joined us after working late! Adrian danced, climbed on rocks and played with friends from mommy's last job at the daycare and friends from mommy's current job! Tons of kids! Fort Collins has so many cool free events for families!

1st Steps...quick update while napping

Adrian took his first (3) steps on July 7th. I was taking my lunch break and showing Gma and Gpa how he can stand unassisted, something I figured out that morning, when with encouragement and much pride he walked towards Gma with 3 steps and again towards me with 2 steps. We were all cheering him on and making a big deal about it. He was so proud of himself! Yelling and waving his arms around and back and forth with big smiles.

Since then, he continues to stand momentarily unnassisted, very hesitant to take steps but has taken 2 or 3 at a time. He has pretty great balance and can stand from squatting position and "jump" up and down. Hold and wave the swiffer sweeper while standing, as well as dance side to side. Any day now, he will build the confidence to go with the balance and start running away from us.

He has been caught walking between the couch and coffee table by Gpa when he thought he was alone! HA! He's probably practicing in the crib and when he's alone all the time.

He's been babbling all sorts of stories these days as well. Continues to be a show-off, to love playing outdoors, chasing the pets, has been experimenting with hitting and throwing stuff. Has become a little cuddle bug and will give hugs, open mouth kisses, and nosey-nosey kisses (eskimo kisses)!!! I love it. He seems to have grown a lot lately and is very huggable!

Today he took a full length mirror off the wall. Then later he was really studying himself in it-moving back and forth watching his reflection. Smart baby.

Gma and Gpa have been watching him all this and last week!!! (Amber is outa town.)

Oopsies: Slipped off the windowsill where he climbs from the couch. 8 mosquito bites-7 on his face. A scrape down that back of his leg-who knows. Two cat scratches. He luckily does not fall off the kitchen chairs (except yesterday) and table where he is always climbing.

So June Went Somewhere....I think I found evidence....

Baths with friends! Why not?

We drank some it away at BrewFest! Over-crowded this year and H-O-T! But still enjoyable. Went with Aunt Laurie, Uncle Wally, and friends.

Where Did June Go?

Happy Belated 4th of July! We had fun BBQ-ing at home with B's family! It was a feast! Adrian loves corn on the cob with cob holders-he's such a big boy! He played with his water table with bubble water, rode his car, and got lots of attention from everyone! After eating dinner and dessert, seeing the brightest double rainbow during dessert; we decided to go to City Park to see fireworks. Parked at G'ma's house and walked to City Park! Adrian loves people watching and had a great time laughing at the fireworks!
Of course he's 14 months old now...which does not mean he's ready to walk yet...although he's only moments away. He lets go randomly and balances for a few seconds; I think he "forgets to hold on".
I had off on Friday and now my 3 day weekend is almost over :(
